Southern Seabird Solutions is an innovative alliance of fishing industry, government and conservation groups that supports and encourages Southern Ocean fishermen to adopt responsible fishing practices to avoid the death and injury of seabirds.

Because seabird by-catch is a global issue and many New Zealand seabirds live much of their lives elsewhere, we also work cooperatively with like minded agencies around the world.
